Paul's Boutique Nail box review

So over Christmas I got this box from my cousins which I absolute LOVE. My nails are literally my pride and joy so I was super exited to try it. This box contains 2 nail polishes, a striper, a nail file and three pots of gems/beads.
The polish in this box is probably the best I own. It is easier to apply, never bubbles and is very pigmented. You could get away with one coating he colours are beautiful. I love the beige/nude shade as I don't have any that colour and nude is just classic and goes with anything, i espcially love it with the gold gems. I chose to put them in the shape of triangles on my thumb and ring finger. The smal pink beads look amazing with the pink polish. These one are easier to apply just by dipping your nail in the pot as they are quite small.
I don't know how much it was as it was a gift, but I would reccomend them to anyone because the polishes are so easy to apply and gems are an esy way to make your nails look like they were done by proffesionals. I highly reccomend this box and will defiantly be purchasing more like this.

What's your favouite nail polish or have you tried this one? Let me know in the comments.

Taylor Swift 1989 Tag

I absolutely ADORE Taylor and I've kind of seen this tag floating around so I've decided to tag myself. I've loved Taylor since her first album Fearless which I still treasure today and can't wait to see the 1989 tour in July which is going to be soooooo good... So here are the questions -

1. Welcome to New York. If you could live in any city, which would it be and why?
Somewhere along the golden coast in Australia. I'd love to be so close to the beach and it's always supper sunny and looks amazing.

2. Blank Space. What is something that everyone thinks is true about you but is actually false?
That I actually get emotional... Quite a lot. Most of my friends are guys so ones that I'm not super close with assume that I don't get upset or cry quite a lot because I like to act like I'm untouchable. That really isn't the case.

3. Style. What is one item in your closet that makes you feel unstoppable?
Red lipstick + leather jacket = perfect combo

4. Out of the Woods. What is one thing that you're afraid of?
I tell everyone that it's spiders. I am afraid of spiders but I'm quite afraid of the unknown like a new place or the future. Yep that kinda thing scares me,

5. All You Had To Do Was Stay. Who is someone you wish was still in your life?

I had some amazing friends in secondary school that stuck by me through thick and thin who have now kind of drifted apart from me. It's not their fault it's just with being at differnt colleges and stuff getting in the way it's just hard.

6. Shake It Off. What is something you have had to shake off?
Everyone tends to think I'll always mess things up ... Which I don't by the way. Some people treat me like I can't do anything which I just ignore and pray that one day I'll prove them wrong.

7. I Wish You Would. What is something you'd like to happen right now?
I'd really like to win the lottery, buy and nice car, a puppy, a new laptop and a pony.

8. Bad Blood. Have you ever had someone stab you in the back?
Yes... That's all I'm going to say.

9. Wildest Dreams. What would you like to be remembered for?
For beings fabulous.

10. How You Get The Girl. What is your favourite pick-up line?
No ... I can't be daw lain with all the awkwardness .... Just no

11. This Love. What is something you got back that you never thought you would?
Ummm ... I'll get back to you on that one.

12. I Know Places. Where is one place you always feel safe?
My house. It's not much but it's home and I know I can count on everyone inside (even if I don't agree with them half the time) to keep me safe.

13. Clean. What is an important lesson you have learned in life, and how did you learn it?
Talent doesn't get you far if talent doesn't work hard.

Seeing as I tagged myself, I don't feel like it's right to tag anyone so I tag who ever wants to do it.

Alberto Balsam Superfruits shampoo and conditioner review

One of my all time favouites shampoo and conditioner brands is Alberto Balsam. Before Pink grapefruit and guava I loved the raspberry and apple but this is my new favouite. It smells super fruity and leaves your hair feeling super soft. It defiantly smells exotic (if that's even a thing) and left my hair feeling 100% revitalised. I love the conditioner a lot more than the shampoo because the smell is a lot stronger and leaves your hair feeling soft and I've thought this with most of their conditioner too. I think this was £1 (they normally are) which is a bargain for such a good quality product. I would highly reccomend this to anyone.

I also got Twitter and Instagram yesterday so follow me, my username is heyyitsgeorgie for both. I would love you to the moon and back if you did!

Max Factor All That Glitters review

As part of my Christmas present my nan got me this adorable little set by Max Factor. It contains five products which I thought I'd reveiw today

Lipstick in Cherry Kiss 840
I LOVE is shade!! The colour is quite bright and vibrant and looks amazing with monochrome clothing. The lipstick feels really soft and looks super glossy especially if applied with the lip balm I got as well. I will defiantly be buying more colour elixir lipsticks as the are absolutely AMAZING.

Wild Eye Shadow Pot in Golden Amazon
I was a little bit worried about this colour as I like to stick to my neutrals but I have to say I'm suite impressed. The colour is quite vibrant so you don't need a lot of it and looks really great with either a dark down or black in the crease. This is something I'd normally use but I might be tempted to repurchase.

False Lash Effect Mascara
I absolutely love my mascar so I was thrilled when I found this one inside the pack. I would say it make my eye lashes look false, but defiantly longer and thicker. I've been wearing this all of this week and I have no complaints. It lasts all day and look amazing.

Glossfinity Nail Varnish in Raspberry blush
This colour just tops off the look. I would say it's more of a plum colour than raspberry but looks amazing on. It hard wearing so it doesn't chip and I would agree it can last up to a week (with a good top coat) it looks super glossy even with out a top coat so I'm very impressed.

Have any of you guys tried any of these products, if so what did you think

5 ways to save money

We all have those moments where we buy something without thinking "do I really need to?" And it defiantly affects our bank balance. So seeing as most of my money went on the January sales, I thought I'd share a few ways that I sometimes uses to save money.

1. Brin cash - if I'm going shopping with my friends and I want to keep the damage to a minimum, I leave my card at home and bring a certain amount of cash.this way I can't spend more than I have and I stick to a budget.
2. Save up - if you are saving up for something or have a big event coming up either set up a savings account or a pot (that's out of sight so your not tempted) to make sure you don't blow your budget before you even have one!
3. Find alternatives - if you want to go somewhere like the cinema go for the cheaper option and rent/buy a DVD or have an evening in with Netflix and popcorn. You'll save an absolute fortune and have just as much fun.
4.  Buy online - if you want one item like a new coat, buy online so your not tempted to buy that top you you don't really need.
5. Go highstreet - if you have all high end makeup maybe you should venture into boots and Superdrug or maybe even the market. It will save you a ton of money. I buy some of my makeup from the market and you can get great brand for an absolute bargain.

Do you guys have any tips on how to save money? Leave them in the comments below.

Katy Perry Royal Revolution Review

As you may already know I absolutely love the Katy Perry perfumes and Royal Revolution was quite high on my Christmas list. As you can guess I was quite happy when I unwrapped the perfume set.

I had quite high expectations as Killer Queen is amazing and this perfume defiantly delivered. It's defiantly stronger that killer queen so if you like more subtle perfumes I would reccomend killer queen rather that this one. However it also means that you don't need a lot of it in order to smell fabulous. So far I have absoutly no problems with this purfume. It uses the scents from pomegranate and pink fushia which gives it quite a sweet smell. I absoutly love it and it may even have beaten Killer Queen as my favouite perfume .... That how good it is!!!

Have any of you tried any of the Katy Perry perfumes and what did you think?
