Bargain Products - Powder

Hey guys! It has literally been forever since I've done a Bargain Products post. I wanna know if you guys like these post? I might keep it a regular thing of you guys like it. Anyway, as some of you guys may have already seen I reccently went to Boots and purchased a few products and this is the second one I'm reviewing. This powder was £1.99 (by Natural Collection) from Boots so I have
To admit I was a little bit unsure about this product because it was so cheap and the fact it was a loose powder as I'm used to pressed powder. The only negative I can find it with the actual selling of the product. I found it more difficult than usual to find the right colour (they'd ran out of translucent) as there were no numbers to suggest how dark the colour was and the names of the shades (E.G. Warm, cool etc.) were not that helpful. Apart from that I really like this product. It doesn't leave your face looking to cakey and gives just the right amount of coverage. It doesn't last the whole day, you do need to top it up again (but only once) and it would be an amazing product to carry in your travel makeup bag as its a cheap product so it doesn't matter if you loose it. I really love this product and it is defianlty the best bargain powder out there.

Have you tried this product or any others from Natural Collection? If so what did you think?

Five Ways People Annoy Me

Hey guys! I'm one of those people that's gets really annoyed and frustrated super easily and to be honest, it kind of annoys everyone around me. So I thought I'd share the top five things that annoy me with you guys to maybe vent some of my anger and find out if it's just me.

1. People telling me what to do. When I say this I don't mean my parents telling me to do the washing up or my teacher telling me to do my work. I mean one of my friends or someone who isn't my parents/teacher ordering me to do something.  I hate someone making me feel like I'm a child. It just gets under my skin and I can't stand it.

2. People who can't shut up. I don't mind people having a rant or just having a chat but I needs to be in the right place. But if I'm watching my favouite TV show or a film ... I would appreciate it if you would just be quiet. I'm really sorry if that sounded rude but I can't stand it.

3. Arrogance. Ugh I hate people who think they are better than me because they're smarter and have an ego the size of a planet. There are some things I do better than other, so I rub it in people faces? No. So why do people find it necessary to tell me that they think they're better than me. Just stop before you get hurt.

4. Pople who are too judgemental. Ok I accept that people don't get on and want to have a bitch and moan but I can't stand when people judge a book by its cover. When girls see a new girl for the first time and just like to point out every singer flaw (which I'm pretty sure we're already aware of) ... Ugh I just can't stand people like that.

5. Bullies. This one is pretty obvious. As someone who has been bullied it makes people feel small and insignificant and even now I get nervous around new people and even friends. When you bully someone it stays with them forever, they can always hear your bpvoice in the back of their head all the time. There's no need for it and there is no excuse. Just don't be that person.

So these are five ways people annoy me. Please let me know that it's not just me that hates these things, otherwise I'll feel like a moany teenage girl.

Miss Sport Crush On You Polish Review

Hey guys! If you read my latest blogpost you might know about my little trip to Boots the other day and how excited I am to try the Miss Sporty Crush On You nail polish. Can I just say the colour came out AMAZING. The glitter catches the light and makes the polish eye catching and the colour is a beautiful rosey pastel pink whith gold chunck of glitter. That means it looks amazing. There are two other colours available and this is defianlty the nicest. The polish claims to have a 3D texture which it does have, but not an amazing amount of texture. The polish just feels rougher than normal polish. I personal,y like it like this because your nails are piles high with 3D effects and you can add gems if you want to. The only downside is it is a bit thin and you do need to apply at least three coats to give decent coverage, however the more coats you out on the greater the 3D texture. Overall I really loved this polish (however I might not be saying this when I have to remove the polish) and the colour is enough for me to repurchase regardless of anything else.

Have any of you guys tried this polish or anything similar? Let me know in the comments.

New Beauty Products

So I reccently went into Boots for no reason what so ever and saw that they had a 3 for 2 deal on all brands. I decided to get a few things to add to my collection (of course).

The first product I got was the Miss Sport So Perfect Stay coverstick. I needed a cheap concealer to go in my college makeup bag and thought I'd give this one a go seeing as it was free and it wouldn't matter if I lost it.
Next up I brought the Natural Collection Losse Powder in the palest shade seeing as I'm basically a vampire. I quite like the powder from Natrual Collection so I thought I'd pick this one up for only £1.99.

Finally the last product I picked up is defianlty the one I'm most excited to try. I brought the Miss Sproty Crush On You. I love this pinky orange colour and of course the sparkles! IM really excite to try this as it says it's has a 3D texture and was only £2.99 so I thought I'd give it a try and maybe review it for you guys.

What do you think of my recent purchases and what was the but if makeup you purchased? Let me know in the comments.

Shoe Dreaming

Shoes are my weakness. If I see a pair that I like I buy them, which is probably why I'm so poor (sigh). I was looking at shops online and found some gorgeous shoes some of which are out of my price range but a girl can dream!

1. New Look £24.99
2. H&M £29.99
3. New Look £14.99
4. Topshop £80
5. New Look £29.99
6. H&M £12.99
7. River Island £40

I have to say I'm drawn to number 2 and 5 personally but I love all of these! If only I could afford all of them...
Which one if your favourite? Let me know in the comment below.

I feel like it's been ages since I've posted? It just been one of those weeks where everything got on top of me and blogging has kind of been left to one side. How I Clean My Brushes

As I mentioned in my 'Beauty Things I Suck At' post I'm rubbish at cleaning my brushes. Not because I can't do it but because I'm too lazy. I thought I'd share with you guys a quick and easy way to clean your brushes without going out of your way to buy a specific product.

1. Fill your sink with warm water. This will remove some of the product from the brushes and wet them.

2. Apply shampoo to the brushes. It's easier if you do this by applying the shampoo to your hand and apply it to the brush using brush strokes over the shampoo

3. Rinse in the sink of warm water. It helps if the water is dirty to replace it. Rinse the shampoo out of the brushes by sort of massaging (???) It out.

4. Leave to dry on something like a towel. Dab and rinse the brushes first so they won't take as long to dry.

So there you have it. That's how I wash my brushes. It's really easy and you don't have to buy anything new to do it

How do you clean your brushes? Let me know in the comments.

Life Goals?!?!

I'm at that stage where I have no idea what I want to do or how I'm going to it. I have. Few ideas for university because I like the subjects and am quite interested in. I thought I'd share some of these plans for the future with you guys (and to see if it makes sense on paper).

 I know I definatly want to go to uni but I'm not 100% sure want I want to study. Ever since I was a little kid I've always wanted to be a vet. When we had "who do you want to be when you grow up" days at school everyone would come as pop stars and dancers and u would be a vet. I realise know that it's and unrealistic goal. Not just because of grades but it's a long process wih only one 'end goal'. I've since been look at courses like biology, environmental studies, archutecure, product design and a few others. I know they're quite different subjects, but I like to call it keeping my options open.

Honestly I don't know what my dream for the future is and even though it seems scary to me that's ok. What I've learnt from looking at different sources if ipyour not 100% sure, take a year out. That's what I'm doing. I think I'd like to travel somewhere. Not sure where yet, but I'm sure I'll know. That course is still gonna be there after a year. It's a lot of money to not be absolutely sure. Also it doesn't hurt to start your a levels again (which is something I'm looking at) three years at college doesn't hurt. Take your time. It's what I'm doing. Am I okay with that? Yes, I think I am.

Chocolate Centre Cookies!!

This is literally the best cookie recipe I've ever tried! My friend and I found this revipe which claimed to taste like Millie's Cookies so of course we had to try it. Let me tell you it's not lying. They taste so good so I thought I'd share with you guys how we made them.

DISCLAIMER - We edited the original recipe and the ingredients to make it our own.

This recipe makes 15 cookies
* 125g butter (it may help to put it in the microwave for a about 10-20 seconds)
* 100g brown sugar
* 125g granulated sugar
* 1 egg (it may help to lightly beat it beiber you put it in)
*  225g self-raising flour (or plain flour with 1/2 tea spoon of baking powder)
*  Pinch of salt
* 15 even square of chocolate

* 1 large mixing bowl
*  Whisk (an electric one is best)
* Baking Tray
* Grease Proof paper (or line the tray with oil or butter)
* Sieve
* Wooden spoon

How to make -
1. Pre heat the oven to 150 degrees
2. Cream the butter, sugar and the egg together using a whisk. If you want to add any flavouring put them in now.
3.  Sift the flour into the bowl and mix using a wooden spoon. You want the mixture to stick together without leaving any in the surface. If it becaimesto dry and a bit of water a table spoon at a time.
4. Take small pieces of the dough and add a square of chocolate to the middle. Roll it until the piece of choclate is at the centre.
5. Put the cookie dough into the baking tray and into the oven. It may look like they're melting for a few minutes but don't worry mine did that and they turned out great.
6. Leave in the oven for around eight minutes and leave to set for two minutes before puting them on a cooling rack.

It here cookies are best served hot so if you want to eat them later, put them in the mor or wave for about 20 seconds.
If you try these show me on Instagram or Twitter by tagging me. My user name is heyyitsgeorgie for both.

Top 10 Films

So as some of you might know... Im a huge film fan. I don't think I fall into the " stereotypical girl" category as if the film doesn't have superheroes, aliens, explosions or at least something funny, I'm not interested (however there is one exception to this rule as you will find out). So these are my top 10 films:

10. Red Riding Hood. I love the 'fairy tale with a twist' film. I feel that this was one of the first and is defianlty one of my favouites. I think you can like this up for les than £5 and would highly reccomend it.

9. Mulan Rouge. This is the exception to my rule. I don't know why but I love this film. I also love the Phantom of the opera film and I have no idea why. I found this film moving even though I knew what was going to happen at the end.

8. Thor. I could chose between both the films because they're both so good. They have aliens, superheroes and some seriously cool fight scenes. What not to love?

7. In Time. I feel like this film doesn't get enough credit. I find the conept of time being money quite interesting and the film is filled with 'edge of your seat' moments. If you haven't seen it just go watch it.

6. Hellboy. Specifically Hellboy 2. I don't know how to explain it other thn its a band of mutants/aliens (it's debatable) that try to stop 'unusual' events from happening whilst staying hidden from the public (well done Hellboy).

5. The Hangover Trilogy. I have to admit the first one (personally) is the best. I still think all three of them are absolutely hilarious and I don't think I've laughed so hard at film.

4. Captain America. The first film kind of links to every other marvel film after (and The TV show) so if you haven't seen it... What are you doing??

3. The Hunger Games. There are so manny reasons why I love this series. The actors, the plot and if course the action. I really love Mockingjay and The Hunger Games but my personal favouite was Catching Gire. I just really loved the quarter quell and the clock theme.

2. Iron Man. If you don't already know, Iron Man is my favouite superhero so these films were and instant like for me.

1. The Avengers. I mean do I even need to explain this? It has loads of marvel superheroes (plus Loki) in one film. And they destroy New York in the process ... It's pretty cool.

So these are my favouite films. Wreck it Wralf just missed out on the list but it was quite tough only choosing ten.

What's you're favouite film, let me know in the comments.

Febuary Favourites

Wow. I actually can't believe it March already, where has the time gone! Anyway because febuary has ended it means it's now time for another monthly favouites where I share what I've been loving this month with you guys. So here are my top three products this month.

First off we have the W7 Camoflauge Kit. I've already done a review of this product recently (click here to read it) so I'm not going to go into much detail. All I'm going to say is I've been usig this product everyday and i am 110% going to repurchase this product.

Next off we have this beautiful sheer glittery blue polis by LA Color in Ocean Mist. This looks absolutely amazing on a blue/green base colour and is super sparkly without being super difficult to take off (like the majority of glitter polishes). This cost me all of £1 which is part of the reason why I love this brand as they look amazing on and are a brilliant price. This is probably one of the best colours of brought in a long time and would highly reccomend it.

Last but not least in the W7 Wild Lash mascara. I really like this mascara, I mean even the packaging looks great. It gives my lashes lots of volume and lookas amazing on. It doesn't give as much length as some of the other mascaras by W7 but this is still in of my favouites by this brand.

So moving in to the non-beauty related favouites, forts off we have the TV show Scandal. I know I've only just stared but it's so good. I normally don't watch TV shows like this but I love it!!! In two days I've nearly finished season 2 which shows how bossed with it I am!! My favouite song of this month is Trrouble by Iggy Azalea and Jennifer Hudson. This is my favouite song (maybe ever?!) by Iggy as its so different to anything she's done before and I LOVED the music video as well. If you haven't heard it you really really need to.

So that's all for my monthly favouites. What have you guys been loving this month? Let me know in the comments.
