Why You Shouldn't Stress Over Exams

It's exam season and I know so many people (me inculded) that are painting so badly that they can't put in 110% effort. I was having a talk with my mum (yes this blogpost in inspired by my mother) trying to calmed me down about exams. I have to say she was surprisingly right about everything she said which got me thinking, maybe I help someone else whose painting about exams realise that it's not the end of the world if you fail. So here are some of the tips I want to share with you.

1. Even if you fail, there are plenty of other options for you. I know it's a bit rich coming from me considering my huge fear of failure but you can just talk to your college or school. I'm considering dropping maths and taking an AS and A2 in environmental studies in one year. If you just ask them what they can offer you you'll find lots of options you didn't even know about.

2. Revise. This goes without saying but if you put in more effort I will boost your confidence and make you believe you know more.

3. Take days off. If you have a day out every now and then you will be able to relieve some of the stress. Even if you just get out of the house for a few hours it will really help.

4. When revising try to eat healthy. I feel like if I eat lots of sweets and chocolate when revising it makes me feel kinda worse (in a guilty way) so I feel worse about my work. It sounds so stupid but it helps.

5. You're not going to be amazing at every topic. If you're a bit of a perfectionist like me, you'll want to be A* at every topic in your subject. Let's be honest, it's completely unrealistic. Don't worry about the stuff you can't do. As long as you can get one or two marks it will be fine. You'll make up for it in the topic you know best!!! Like in maths, I suck at trip and the trapezium rule but I kick ass at coordinate geometry.

So these are my top five tips on how to not get stressed about exams. Trust me, when you're finished, you're going to wonder why you got so stressed. And for those of you taking GCSEs, you'll do fine. If you don't get the grades you want 9/10, if you speak to your college they'll let you on your course. You may be on a two month trial period but it's still the course you wanted! Also I'm not saying don't revise, I am 110% saying that but don't get stressed about it!

How To Survive Exam Season

Next month is exams for me... I know I'm feeling the pressure a bit. I also know GCSEs start June(????) so in toughs I'd share some of my tips to help survive exam season.

1. Working really hard is great.... With regular breaks. You're not going to take anything in if you've been working to hard. Ten minutes every 45 minutes to 1 hour will do the trick.

2. Work during your frees. If your have lots of free periods at college, take advantage!! The more you do at college, the less you have to so at home.

3. Keep your phone WELL AWAY! How much work would you actually do if your phone was sitting next to you .... Let's be honest it's not going to be a lot.m

4. Don't panic!!! Well I get stressed about my work ... I've been known to break things (I'm not proud ok?!?!?) don't let yourself get to that point ... Just walk away!

5. Get a study buddy. I've always found this really useful because I have someone to motivate me to do my work. I know it seems like a huge distraction but it isn't. You end up making each other work harder.

So these are my top five tips on how to survive exam session. Let me know what your tips are for surrviving exam session are in the comments.

Summer Checklist 2015

Hey guys! Seeing as summer is supposed to be vastly approaching I came up with this blogpost idea where I list all he things I want to so this summer. Then when September rolls around I can review my list and see which ones I actually completed. Let me just say this summer is goin to be AMAZING to beat last year seeing as my cruise along the Spanish coast was pretty fabulous. This year I'm not going on holiday so I decided to make my summer just as great by doing these things on my list -

1. Go to the beach .... At least twice.

2. Go somewhere I've never been before.

3. Be brave enough to go swimming!!!!

4. Go up to London to visit my friend who lives there.

5. Change my hairstyle dramatically.

6.  Get a job.

7. Make a photo album of my entire summer

8. Blog at least twice a week.

9. Raise my Instagram game!!!

10. Do something out of my comfort zone.

So these are the ten thing on my summer checklist. What do you guys have planned this summer? Let me know in the comments.

Bloggers Block?!?!

Hey guys, so if you don't know I've decided to do a whole month of daily blogging this month to celebrate my one year blogging anniversary. One thing I've learnt is it is not easy being a daily blogger. Trying to come up with interesting ideas everyday is surprisingly difficult. There's been a few times where it's about 9 or 10 pm and I've just remembered I have to blog. When this happens I have a few things I do to over come bloggers block which I thought I'd share with you guys.

1. I tend to look at the archive of my favoute bloggers and see if there's anything I can take "inspiration" from. Just remember to tag the blogger in if you take "inspiration" from their blogposts.

2. There are plenty of blogposts giving you ideas for blogposts. Just google blogpost ideas and you'll get lots of suggestions.

3. Look online at your favourite shops and make a wishlist. I wouldn't reccomend doing these all the time but these posts are great "filler" blogpost ideas.

4. Take inspiration from everyday life. If you've seen something that bothers you. Blog about it. If you've recently taken up a hobby. Blog about it.

5. Most importantly, if you're not 100% motivated, leave it for a day and don't post anything. If you're not 100% happy with your post, the chances are someone else won't be.

So this is what I tend to do when I have bloggers block. What do you guys so when you get like this? Let me know in the comments.

So of course I've been looking online at sunglasses to find a new pair for this summer, and of course I'm going to share some of my favourites with your guys.

4. Topshop - £16

6. New Look - £18

What If I Fail?!?!

I've  found my AS year particularly hard which had kind of reinforced my great fear ... Failure! I'm seriously struggling with my subjects and if I fail I have no idea what I'm going to do next year. Do I move colleges, change subjects or just carry on with what I'm doing and pray it gets easier. Failure is the scariest thing for me. I feel like if I fail there will be no options left for me. I feel like my friends would move in and I'd just to be stuck in a loop of failure. I can also imagine my parents being so disappointed in me even though I've tried so hard and I still don't know my sine from my cosine! I have many question whizzing round my head that I can't share with anyone because they'll tell me to work harder even though I think that's physical impossible! I can just imagine all of these doors shutting in front of me and I'm trapped in a room with no way out because I've failed. I don't know what I'd do if I failed. I mean if I can't pass my AS year, is there any hope for me? I feel like my summer is going to consist of me researching if there's going to any hope of me having a future. Even though I haven't failed (yet) I still have all of these thoughts in my head telling me I have no hope. You have no idea how much I won't to prove myself and everyone else wrong but I don't know if I can. I honestly can't handle the idea if me failing at anything... Maybe that's why I've been blogging for so long?

I'm really sorry for the string of personal posts I've been throwing on you but I need to get it off my chest ... Sorry!

Does Counselling Really Help?!?

Hey guys! So recently I posted about living with anxiety, and since then I've been to a counselling session today ell with this and another disuse that I've been having college. I was "advised" to go by my teacher which basically means that "you're going but I can't on the record force you". It was main,y focused around this really really bad situation at college (which I don't wanna talk about) but we talked about other problems I've been facing. I was really nervous about going in and had been having panic attacks about it for a few days about I. When I went in the lady was actually really nice and made me feel actually pretty calm. Obviously this was my first session so we didn't go into a huge amount of detail, just what's been going on and how she could help. Even though it was only a short session, I made me feel a lot better! I don't like telling anyone how I feel because I don't want people to worry or whatever, so it was an amazing feeling being able to tell someone about I and not be judged for anything. I mean let's be honest, she's probably seen a lot worse! If your offered this option I would seriously take it. I haven't told her everything, and I'm not sure I will, but I feel like I don't have to keep worrying about some of these anymore. Because it through college, I feel a lot less official comaored to going to a doctor because she wasn't examining me or anything which felt pretty good. If your feeling even half as nervous a I was, just remember that they know nothing about you so they can't judge you in anyway shape or form. And they can find ways to help you which you never even thought of. I was really skeptical about doing this but I'm honestly so glad I did!

Top Five Things To Watch On Netflix

Let me just put it out there, Netflix is going to be the reason I fail my exams. I don't actually have a Netflix account, but I'm sort of using my friends and since she let me use it it been difficult to get me off! There are a range of TV shows on There with range from awesome to a bit crap (sorry). To stop you  from trying to find a decent show, I thought I'd share my top five TV shows (not in order) -

1. Pretty Little Liars - If you don't already know, this is on of my favourite TV shows EVER (obviously doesn't beat Game of Thrones though)! It was featured in my top five TV shows post, but basically it's about a group of girls who are trying to find out what happens th their "missing" friend whilst trying to figure out whose "A", the person who keeps on threatening them. It's a really well written show which will have you begging for the next episode!

2.  One Upon A Time - this is a recent discovery of mine and I love it!! Al the fairy tale characters have been cursed by the wicked queen to our world but they have no memory of the curse. Granted the first couple of episodes are a bit odd, but once it starts to make a bit more sense ... It's amazing!!! I love guessing which person is from which fairytale!

3. Brooklyn Nine-Nine - this show is hilarious!! It's set in a police station in New York. Basically it's really funny and you should watch it!!!

4. White Collar - This is such a cleverly written show! It's about a con artist who j stead of serving his sentence, decides to work for the FBI to help catch con artists like him. Me and my friend are IN LOVE with this show! It's so worth watching!

5. Adventure Time - What? I'm not 18 yet so I'm technically still a child... So it's acceptable!

So these are what I seriously reccomend on Netflix. What do you watch in Netflkx, let me know im the comments.

Hey guys! I really like this segment so I think I'm going to make it a regular thing, what do you think? Anyway, I found this DIY lipgloss idea on Twitter and it only involved with Vaseline and eyeshadow powder. I'm not going to lie, but I was really skeptical about this.

Method -
1. Empty the Vaseline container into a mixing container
2. Scrape some eyeshadow powder into the mixing container (you need a LOT)
3. Mix together the powder and Vaseline

* If you use enough powder, it actually gives a bright colour
* Its a super cheap DIY
* Its really easy to make
* You can make a range of colours

* Its really messy and hard to mix
* The colour doesn't stay for a huge amount of a time, but you can always reapply
* Its quite difficult to get into the pot

So, overall I think this is surprisingly a DIYes - probably. I was actually really surprised about the colour and I really like it. It's is really messy because the Vaseline is quite sticky and gets stuck onto he mixing rod. But it is really cheap to make and look really good on. The purple shade I chose looks amazing! What do you think I should call this shade? Let me know in the comments.

Are They Really Your Friend?!?!

Hey guys, as a seventeen year old girl, I've had a share of my friendship dramas. Recently I've began to realise that I've outgrown (if that's even a thing) some  of my closest friends. They've been in my life for over six years and throughout school they've always been there for me. We all went to different colleges and we promised we stay in touch, but recently I feel like I've moved on. I feel like since I've started college I've had to grow up a lot and face a lot of things which makes me think that I've outgrown them. Now I've realised that I don't want to be the person that I was in school, the person who didn't have the confidence to speak to new people or the person that just didn't like anything about herself. I feel like if I want to stop being this person I need to move in, which includes leaving my friends behind. It's actually really sad to do this but I feel like if I'm going to change and become more happy with myself I need to leave everything behind.  There two people in this group I want to stay friends with. One is my oldest closest friend who I've know nearly 13 years! The other is a fellow blogger who I absolutely love. I feel like all three of us feel the same. Change is one of the things I'm mist scared of and losing my friends but it needs to be done. They're are just some people who aren't really your friend and I've finally learnt that now! I shouldn't be boss's around and made to feel bad when only two of us meet up. I should become my own person and find people who like me for me!

I know this post is more personal but I promise things will be back to normal soon. Have any of you outgrown friends? Let me know on the comments.

MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer Review

So my friend gave me this product a few days ago because she didn't like the colour. Red is basically my natural lip colour so of course I said I'd try it. I've heard a .... Mixture of reviews about this products so I was really excited to try it! The first thing I thought about this product is that the packaging is really simple and elegant. Even though it's quite simple I really like it.as you can see by the swatch the colour is really vibrant and lasts a long time. However, the products itself is really thick and feels strange when it's drying. It feels really sticky and uncomfortable when it's first applied. After it goes matte it feels a lot better on your lips. Also when you eat, it sort of crumbles of your lips. It's also quite hard to remove with makeup wipes as its kind of stuck to your lips.

So to summarise -
* Bright, vibrant colour
* Lasts a long time
* Lovely matte finish
* Easy to apply
* A little goes a long way

* Thick, sticky texture which is uncomfortable on your lips
* Crumbles when you eat
* Hard to remove
* Feels strange on your lips (I can't explain it but it feel like paint drying on your lips)

Overall, once you get used to the feeling when you first put the product in, it's a good product. It has an amazing matte finds and the colour is just amazing. I know people that really hate the feeling of their product and others that don't mind it. I think it's down to personal preference.

Have any of you tried this product, let me know in the comments.

This or That Tag

Hey guys! I feel like this is a bit of a 'cheaty' blog post but I've been super busy today and I just wanted an easy blogpost so I decided to tag myself in the This Or That tag! I chose to do the beauty questions (not the other topics) just because I'm too lazy... Sorry!

blush or bronzer?
Bronzer all the way! Mainly because I'm so pale.
lip gloss or lipstick
Lipstick. I find lip gloss too sticky and it doesn't last as long.
eye liner or mascara
Mascara. I feel that eyeliner doesn't look that great without mascara.
foundation or concealer
Concealer. I can go ages without wearing foundation.
neutral or colour eye shadow
Neutral. Coloured eye shadow just doesn't suit me!
pressed or loose eye shadows
Pressed eyeshadow. I font think I've ever come across loose eye-shadow.
brushes or sponges
Brushes 100%
perfume or body spray
Perfume. You can't beat the Katy Perry perfume!
lotion or body butter
The Body Shop body butter is my favourite
body wash or soap
It depends but I really love the Lush soaps!
lush or other bath company
I'm sorry but Lush is the best!

So these are a few questions from the this or that tag! I think I might do the whole tag soon. Also I have a new product review coming tomorrow so keep an eye out for that! Sorry for this filler post, I promise it will be back to normal tomorrow!

The BodyShop Tea Tree Cleanser

I'm not going to lie, but this might be my favoute skin product I've ever tried. I absolute the love the way it makes my skin feel after I use it. My skin just feels so much cleaner and looks much more fresh and radiant. I have really sensitive skin and it hasn't upset my skin one bit which is quite surprising. I've also noticed since I've been using it, I'm less prone to getting spots and blackheads which is a double bonus! Because it's a foaming cleanser you don't need a lot. Just squirt one pump onto your hand or hand towel and rinse with warm water. Trust me, a little goes a long way. Plus it smells amazing!

What's your favourite skin cleanser? Let me know in the comments.

Considering University?!?!

I feel that university is one of the hardest things to consider. The first thing is if you want to go, then what course, then where and finally you have to work your butt off to get the grades that you want. A few months ago everyone was stressing me out because I had no idea what I wanted to do in the future. Since then I've finally decided what course I want to and what I want to go and what I'm going to do with it. There are so many option for you at university (such a dual honour, major minor and year in industry) that there really is something for everyone. Considering I've found this process partially difficult, I thought I'd share some tips to help you guys out so you don't get stressed out like I'd did!

1. It's ok to not know what you wanna do. If you have a few subjects your good at/are interested in erase arch the best universities for your favourite subjects (or your favourite universities) and order the prospectus. Trust me, a prospectus is so much easier than looking online.

2. Research other options. If your thinking about two subjects there are ways of doing both. There's dual honours and major minor courses you can look into. I'm probably going to do dual honours in biology and environmental science because I can't decide between both subjects. You can also look at studying online. It might suit you better.

3. Look at university open days. I'd start with looking at a local university just to make sure that the course (or courses) you're looking at is right for you. There's no point travelling across the country to find out you don't want to do that course.

4. If you're not 100% sold on your course it's ok to take a year out. You can apply for deferred entry so the course will be there the next year. There's no point paying all that money and not be completely sold on your course.

5. Don't listen to anyone else! This one is super important. People will tell you that you NEED to make a decision which is NOT TRUE! It's your life so you take as long as you want making up your mind. Don't let people stress you out because they have everything planned - plans change!

Honestly university is nothing to worry about. Take time and make sure you're 100% sure about your choice. Let me know in the comments what your opinions are on university in the comments.

Favourite Recipe - Lemon Drizzle Cake

Hey guys! This recipe is defiantly one of my favourites ... Ever! It's so light, super easy and idiot-proof. Let me know what you think.

130g of Butter
130g of Caster Sugar
2 eggs
Zest of a whole Lemmon OR 3-4 tablespoons of lemon juice
110g of Self Raising Flour (if you use the lemon juice you may need more flour)
For the glaze -
2 1/2 tablespoons of lemon juice
2 table spoons of water
6 tablespoons of caster sugar

*this recipe works better as a tray bake but it works just finest in a normal cake tin*

Method -
1. Preheat the oven to 180 C or 350 F.
2. Grease the cake tin or use grease proof paper.
3. Cream the sugar and butter together.
4. Add each if the eggs seperatly and beat into the mixture.
5. Sift in the flour. Make sure to get a lot of air in the mixture otherwise it won't rise as much.
6. Put in the oven for 20 minutes. Use a metal skewer or knife to see when it's cooked.
7. While its cooking, in a separate bowl add all the ingredients for the glaze.
8. As soon as the cake is out of the oven pour the glaze in so that the sugar melts in the cake. Let the cake cool and remove from the tin.

Told you it was simple! Let me know what your favourite thing is to bake in the comments.

Don't forget to tell me what you think,

DI-Yes or DI-No - Eyeliner

Hey guys. I reccently found article online (click here) and it featured a "DIY Gel Eyeliner". The instructions are; hold you eyeliner pencil under a flame for one second and cool for 15 seconds. I decided to come up with this segment called DIYes or DINo where I test DIYs like this for you guys.

Unfortunately, this DIY is a DI-NO! It is practically the exact same except for the fact it breaks a lot easier. I even tried it twice and I didn't see a huge difference. I tried with a different eyeliner and the effect was the same. Sorry.

Have any of you guys tried this, did it turn out any differently? Also do you have any DIYs you want me to try?

Revision Techniques

Hey guys! As some of you may already know it's very nearly exam season (eek!). Revising can be a lot harder than it seems with a huge number of distractions and the fact it's quite boring. So it bought I'd share a few techniques that I use to help me revise.

1. Writing key facts on post it notes is a good idea... Unless you write them and never look at them again. To make sure I don't do this I place them around my mirror because I use it every morning when I put on my makeup. That way I'm frequently reading what I wrote on the post it note.

2. If you're the kind of person that has to have some sort of background sound make a playlist on your phone of songs you want to listen to and play it out loud. This way you won't want to skip songs so you'll be less likely to be distracted by the other things on your phone. I often play ever a film of TV show that I've seen hundreds of times. You know the ones you know all the words to. This way you won't be distracted because you already know what happens.

3. Make sure your phone is on airplane mode. This way no one can distract you and you'll get so much more work done.

4. Take regular breaks. I know people say this all the time but it really is pretty important. If your not taking regular breaks then your not going to be fully focused so your not going to learn. You should also drink plenty as well.

5. Books are better than technology. Let's be honest you're going to get way more distracted by a computer than you are a book. It has all the information you need minus the distractions. Trust me, it will work.

So these are my top five revision techniques. What are your best revision techniques? And what exams are you studying for? Let me know in the comments.

One Year of Blogging?!?!

Hey guys! This is crazy because today is my one year blogging anniversary!!! I'm starting to feel like I'm making progress on my blog and it's finally starting to look and feel like it's exactly how I want it, whihc is an amazi feeling to have. I'd just like to say that I honestly couldn't of done it without you. Thank you for reading my posts and following my blog. I'm also quite proud of myself for finding a hobby and sticking with it for so long and for not giving up. I've learnt quite a few thing from this blog over the past year which I think I should share with you. I hope it helps!

* Be patient ... You're not going to get millions of veiws after one post. Accept that fact and work hard to get those views because people want to read your posts!

* Write for yourself not anyone else... I feel this is the most important thing .. If you don't like what you're writing no one els will! Write at your own pace and only hit publish if your happy with it.

* Write about something you're interested in ... Just because a topics popular doesn't mean you should write about it. If you don't enjoy it, don't write about it.

* Soical media will be your best friend ... Twitter and Bloglovin are must haves!

* Interact with other bloggers... This way you can collaborate and share ideas.

* Post regularly ..l this doesn't have to be everyday, just at least once a week to keep people interested.

* Youre blog needs to look the part! I reccomend looking on Esty for blogger templates, mine was less than £5 and I think it looks great!

* Make sure you proof read your posts... I've made this mistake so many times, there's nothing more annoying than working really hard on a blogpost and after half an hour realising there's a typo.

* Interact with your readers ... Ask them question at the end nd of your blogpost to get some descion about it.

There's are a few things I've learnt so far with my blog. I'm so happy that my blogs come so far in this time! What have you guys learnt from blogging? And how long have you been blogging? Let me know in the comments.

Five Tips Every New Blogger Should Know

I've been blogging for almost a year now and I've learnt a few things about blogging. I think that it's about time I share some of those tips with you. If your thinking or starting a blog or need a bit of advice running your blog. You've definitely!ty come to the right place.

The first tip I have for you is have patience. After one blog post your not going to bet 1000 followed and bundreds of comments. Your audience will grow as your blog grows. Don't expect miracles to happen after one post because they won't. I'm not saying give up I'm saying be realistic. It takes time and effort to build an audience. However after you start to get followers and regular reader it feels AMAZING but it does take time. I do however promise you it's worth it.

Secondly I would suggest that you upload regularly. This doesn't have to be everyday just once or twice a week to keep readers interested in your blog. If you want to keep up the oGeviews and followers you want to keep people interested.

For my third tip I would suggest you use your phone to pan and write down blogpost ideas. If you want to upload on a regular basis then use the calander on your phone to set an alarm every time you upload. I also use the notepad on my phone to write down blogpost ideas. This can be posts that you've liked from other blogger or tags that you really want to try. This is so helpful and you'll never forget a blogpost idea and you'll never forget to upload.

I would also reccomend that you use Bloglovin. I feel like no enough people use this. It's a site/app that allows people to follow your blog and get your posts sent straight to there feed so they can read them. You can also follow blogs that your interested in and never miss post form your favouite bloggers. It helps you gain traffic and find new blogs. If you don't use BlogLovin I seriously reccomend you do as its a a amazing tool to help build your blog.

Lastly I use social media to help get more interest in my blog post. Two account you should follow on Twitter are @RT_Bloggers (nearly 6K followers) and @FemaleBloggerRT (nearly 24K followers). If you tweet them with your blog URL they will normally retweet to their followers. You can find other accounts but these two are my favouites.

So these are my top five blogger tips. Do you agree with these or do you have other tips you'd like to share in the comments?

I hope you found this post useful,

Hey guys, I've been wanting to make this blogpost for a while but I always thought it wasn't something I could share and talk about until reccently. I've always been quite shy around new people and I'm very good at hiding who I really am and my feelings. Anxiety is one of those things I've hidden for a long time. I've suffered from anxiety and panic attacks for at least two or three years but I've always been afraid of trying new things and meeting new people. The main reason that my photo and my full name isn't in this blog is because I don't have the confidence and it terrifies me (which I hope you understand). The main thing that triggers my panic attacks is being trapped or feeling like I have no way out of a situation. This is going to sound very stupid but my claustrophobia started when I was younger and I got trapped in one of those tube slides that are pitch black at an indoor play area. As a child, I found this really scary because there was a girl behind me and lots of people in front of me so I couldn't get out.bI was stuck for the best part of forty odd minutes and I was terrified because I could see anything and j had no idea how long I was going to be stuck for. Even now at seventeen I can't do anything if I can't see where I'm going (yes I'm afraid of the dark). It's sounds so stupid when I say it out loud but I think that event is what caused my anxiety. There are also a few words that will set me off into a panic attack because I've been bullied my whole life. I left one school thinking I could leave it behind and it would just start a lover again. Even if one of my friends says a particular word, I'll have to lock my self in the toilet and try to calm myself down. There also the issue of feeling trapped. Just reccently my friends wanted to go ice skating and I can't ice skate so I said I'd stay home and do some work.even though I'm sure they meant no harm, I felt like they were trying to force me to go and I started to have a panic attack. Because if my anxiety I also can't drink alcohol because I feel like I'm losing control and I often have to miss parties because I don't want to throw this on anyone. I feel like I'm constantly making up excuses because I'm worried about my anxiety so I have to base my soical life around the fact I might have a panic attack. I'm a,whas having to stay safe which means I got a lot of places with my mum such as the doctors and the dentist. I can't even face being in public transport by myself which I feel like is a shame. It makes me feel like I'm so alone and I have no one I can turn to which is kind of making me feel down at the moment. This would be the part where I'd tell you that if you suffer with anxiety, see a doctor but that would be hypocritical becaue I haven't even told my parents. Actually I think this is the first time I've talked about it.

So why do people have panic attacks? If you body begin to think you are in any sort of danger (which often is not the case) your nervous system begins to kick in and floods your body with adrenaline. You bein to sweat but feel cold, every thing seems twice as loud, you begin to hyperventilate and feel sick. Your heart rate goes right up and you feel like you need to leave whatever situation you're in because your too panicked. Once it's over you feel ok but really it's even more scary because you know that you're going to have one again, you just have no idea when. I find that the scariest part that I could have to leave a situation, even if I'm having fun, in a matter of seconds because I feel trapped. Because of this o try to limit what I do and who I see. I feel that if I tell some one about this they'll just laugh and tell me it's not a serious as I think even though I feel like the worst I ever have. Basically what I'm saying is that if you're friend tell you they have anxiety, take it seriously. You don't know how they feel or what they goin through. Please be considerate.

Do any of you guys have anxiety, please tell me I'm not the only one. It would mean the world to me.

Starter Makeup Kit

Hey guys! This was actually an idea I shared in my last blogpost. This idea was definatly my favourite so I thought I'd share my beginners makeup bag with you. When I first started buying makeup I had no idea what to get so to make it easier for some of you I put together some of the products I had in my collection as a starter kit. All of these products are drugstore which is definatly better when you are a beginner. I would suggest getting used to makeup before you venture into high end brands.

For foundation I have the Rimmel Match Perfection. I chose this one because it's really easy to find your shade and easy to apply/blend. It looks quite natural and not look cakey at all.
For concealer I chose the Miss Sporty So Perfect Stay because it's affordable, easy to apply and easy to blend.
For powder I chose the Natural Collection Loose Powder whihc I have reccently reviewed so click here to read it.
For mascar I chose the NYC Big Bold Curl. I love the NYC mascaras espcially this one. Mainly because it gives length and volume of a good price.
For eye shadow I chose my all time favourite quad which is the NYC Individual Eyes - For Brown Eyes. This is such a perfect set for beginners as it come with four colours, primer and highlighter. In the back it also tells you where abouts each colour goes which is super helpful for people who are just starting out in makeup.
For the lips I have chosen Baby Lips in Cherry Me. I chose this as the colour isn't very bright but still gives a glossy red tint. It also leaves you lips feeling super soft. I have this in my bag for college and is super easy to apply and always looks great.
Last of all I have the H&M Makeup Bryshes I'm not going to go into huge amounts of detail because I reccently reviwed these so click here to read it.

So what did you guys think of my makeup starter kit? I'd love to know what items you woul reccomend!

H&M Brush Review

As a seventeen year old girl with no job, funding my makeup addiction is difficult. I think the most expensive part of makeup is makeup brushes. I asked for expensive makeup brushes for Christmas but I've been looking for cheaper alternatives. A few months ago I brought a blush and foundation brush duo from H&M and I absolutely love it! Its lasted really well for £2.99 and is amazing quality. I don't use the brush to apply my foundation (I use my fingers or a sponge), I use it to apply highlighter and for contouring. I've had this brush for ages and it hasn't broken or got damaged which is quite surprising for me. I honestly love it so much that I brought a Smokey eye and eyeliner duo brush for £1.99 the other day. The smokey eye end of the brush is amazing at blending and for applying eyeshadow to your crease. I haven't used the brush for eyeliner but I used it as an eyebrow brush and it works perfectly. Its super easy to use and I am defiantly buying more brushes from H&M. If your looking for a good affordable brand of makeup brushes ... Look no further.

Top Five Books

Bets guys welecome back!  So this idea was from Elena (click here to view her profile) and thought I'd do it because I'm actually quite a book worm. My dad has always got a book in his hand and that has been passed down to me which is definatly not a bad thing. I bring my tablet to college to read and have taken up at least two book shelves with books. I thought I'd share my top five books (or book series) with you guys. So here are my top five books (not in order)

* Gallager Girls series - Ally Carter. Ok Ally Carter is possibly my favouite autor and this is my favouite book series by her. The first book (I'd Tell You I Love You But Then I'd Have To Kill You) is about a girl, Cammie, who attended Gallager academy- a school for spies. She has to try to balance a normal life outside of the walls of the academy with her training at school. As the series progresses, it gets more dark with secret organisation out to get the girls but it makes it more interesting. There are part of the books that are quite girly which adds to the charm. I would highly reccomend!!

* Paper Towns - John Green. I know that most people tend to prefer TFIOS but this one is most defianlty my favouite! It's follows the charchter Quentin "Q" who has a serious crush on Margo, the girl across the street. One night she calls on him to hell carry out her revenge on her ex-boyfriend which leads to the wildest night Q has ever had. But it turns out solving the mystery of Margo turned into a bit of a challenge... But that's what makes this book so interesting.

* Percy Jackson - Rick Riordan. I think the majority of people know what these books are about but if you've been living under a rock, the books are set around a boy named Percy who just so happens to be the son of Poseidon (you know, everyday stuff). He and his friends from Camp Half-Blood have to fight monsters and save people. If you love action and adventure books, YOU HAVE TO READ THESE.

* Alex Rider - Anthony Horowitz. Combine Cammie from Gallager girls and Percy Jackson and that's pretty much Alex Rider (minus the superpowers). after Alex's uncle dies he gets offered a job by his uncles precocious employer, the secret service. He has to fight a range if bad guys and save the country, my favouite book has to be Arc Angel (number 6 ... I think?!?) where Alex goes to space. This was the first book series I read and I really really enjoyed them!!

* Heist Society- Ally Carter. What a surprise another Ally Carter book? This one is based around a girl, Katarina Bishop, who was brought up in a family of criminals. Trying tescape this life she cons her way into the best private school she can think of only to be dragged back into that life by her friend Hale to save her father from a gang leader. There are a few books in this series and I seriously reccomend you pick them up.

Have you guys read any of these books, if so what did you think?  Also what's your top five books you've ever read? Let me know in the comments below.

March Favourites

Hey guys! Today is the first day of my April challenge to celebrate my one year blogging anniversary (which is in TEN DAYS). I'm super excited beaucause it means I'm able to interact more with you guys and share more with the Internet. Seeing as it's the start of April, I have to do a March favouites where I share my favouite beauty and non beauty products with you guys. So here my beauty favouites...

As you can see in the picture, I have three f amounted for this month. First off is my Natural Collection Loose Powder which I reviewed in my last blogpost (click here to read). It only cost me £1.99 from Boots and let's just say I'm defianlty repurchasing it.
My second beauty product is Vaseline Coca Butter. I have no idea why but lips seem to be a lot more flakey and sore than usual so I got a pot of this for only 99p. I actually prefer this to the original because (in my opinion) it left my lips feeling at lot softer than the original... Plus I really like coca butter.
My third and final beauty product is the Collection 24 Hour Feltip Eyeliner. I'm pretty sure I've reviewed his product like six months ago so I'll keep it brief. This eyeliner is super affordable at £2.50 (ish) and is easy to apply. This make the cat eyeliner, flawless. Love it!!

Time for my nine beauty favourites. My music favouite has to go to The Pretty Reckless. Anyone seen Gossip Girl? Remember r little Jenny Humphrey? No pt so little anymore as you might see in these music videos. It's a little bit more metal and rocky to the stuff I normally write about in here, but deep down, I'm a rock chic! My three favouite sings are Going To Hell, Messed Up World (let's keep it clean), and Miss Nothing.

So what did you guys think of last months favouites? Let me know what you've been loving in the comments below.
