May Favourites 2015

So this month has just been one of those months. I've had exams and lots of revision to do, which kinda sucked. Thankfully this month is over which means it's time for another monthly favourites... Unfortunately I still have three Adams left. But let's not think about that and get on with my monthly favourites.

This month I have three beauty favourites. First of is the MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Laquer. I did a review of it (click here to read) so I'm not goin to go into a huge amount of detail but it's grown on me a lot. At first I wasn't sure but a little goes a long way. I love the colour 'Reckless' which is an amazing bold read. I just love it. Especially the matte finish.

My second beauty favourite is my trusted Colłection Extreme 24 Hour Felt Liner. Im pretty sure I've mentioned this product at least five times but I don't think that's enough. It gives a very defined finish and is really easy to use. I U.S. This pretty much everyday and don't have any complaints.

My last beauty favourite is a new find which is the Collection Work The Colour Eyebrow Set. I picked this up for £2.99 which is a absolutely amazing price. The colours match my eyebrows perfectly and they don't look fake or drawn on. I've also used it as normal eyeshadow which gives a natural smokey look. I'm going to do a proper review on this soon so keep your eye open.

My next non beauty favourite is lemon and cucumber infused water. I saw this on Michelle Phans blog and decided to try it. I know cucumber sounds weird but it's actually really good! And cucumber is really good for your skin. When I'm revising I make a huge jug of this and by the end of my sessions I've drank it all. It tastes better than water and is healthier than juice and fizzy drinks so it's perfect for keeping you hydrated during revision.

So these are my May favourites, my question to you is what have you been loving this month?

Girlz Only Dry Shampoo Review

Hey guys. I feel like it's been forever since I've done a review. So when I found this product in Tesci for £1 I knew I had to try it. I was hoping this would be a cheaper alternative to Batiste and I have to say I was actually impressed. The only problem was that it didn't smell as good as Batiste - but don't get me wrong it smelt nice ... Just not cherry Batiste nice. Apart from that I felt that this product was brilliant. I don't think it would work as well for really greasy/oily hair but what do you expect for £1. My hair is a little bit oily after a day after washing so this is perfect for days when I can't be bothered to have a shower. Honestly it doesn't look much different but I do think it it can feel a bit greasy if you use too muc.

Pros -
* perfect for those inbetween shower days
* gives your hair extra volume
* decent smell

Cons -
* wouldn't work for greasy or oily hair
* can leave hair feeling a bit greasy

What's your go to dry shampoo?

So ... Where Have I Been?????

I feel like this post should be started with an apology. I'm very sorry that my activity on my blog has be well ... Nonexistent. So I thought I'd give you guys some reasons as to why I haven't been posting. May has just been one of those months. I've had lot of exams and I still have more to go after half term. That means I've been working my butt off to do the best that I can .... Which has been even more stressful than you can imagine. As well as this I'm also trying to make time for things that I want to do. For example I went to comic on on the weekend I spent nearly £70 just on comic book... Which is a lot considering I'm basically living off my parents ... Sorry dad! I'm also trying to meet up with couple of my friends this week as well as revise for my last three exams, which have actually gone surprisingly ok. There was one maths paper which was a it meh, but it was the hardest paper out of all my exams so j was more or less expecting it to be this way. But apart from that, I think I earn a puppy... Which my dad promised me if I got BBC ... Dad bets are just the best. Anyway, I'm sorry for my lack of existence on the internet recently but I promise next month will be so much better. Who knows I might even daily blog to make up for it ... Maybe.

Travel plans?!?!

One of my biggest fears is growing up and living in the same town for my entire life. Don't get me wrong, I love it here but there's so much more the world had to offer... I plan on seeing it. On my year out at university my plan is to apply for camp America or take my best friend and travel together through Europe. Although I would love love love to go to Australia, it's just not affordable at this point in my life. The plan is to apply for camp America with my best friend. If that fails than here's the plan.... Europe!!! I think we agreed we'd start in Paris and gradually make our way across other countries such as Germany, Spain and Italy. Another group of friends were planning a small holiday during next summer as well. We weren't thinking a week partying in Ibiza maybe just a few days in Spain or France before everyone leaves for uni. It is actually quite scary for me thinking about this. I can just imagine my dad having to be Liam Nesson and come save me. But I will have my best friend to help me from making stupid decisions.... And do all the cooking seeing as I haven't even mastered pasta yet. Oh well. I do still want to go to uni, however I have a feeling I've failed all my exams so there may have to be a third  year at college which doesn't involve maths in anyway shape or form.

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?

Two Days Until My Exams?!?!

At this point in time I'm not sure what to think. Be super stressed about my exams and the possible/almost definite failure that will follow, or the fact in three weeks I will have nothing to worry about and it will all be over! But until that point in time, I'm gonna have to go for the first options. Now me, deciding to make life difficult for myself, chose the HARDEST SUBJECTS I COULD.... And I honestly can't think of why I chose these subjects. Out of all my exams I'm most prepared for biology mainly because it's my favourite sunbject so I don't feel like I'm working as hard compared to the others. In total I have seven exams, two chemistry and biology and three maths. I doesn't actually sound like a lot but to me I feel like it's make or break. I  feel like it's gotten to the point here if I work any harder I'm just going to burn out. I don't do anything social and this house is driving me crazy. My Mum keeps telling me to get out more but I want to make sure I'm putting in the best effort I can.

Because of this I've been slacking when it comes to blogging because I've decided to put it to one side while I focus on my exams, I hope you understand.

Are Driving Lessons Scary?!?!

Hey guys! So as I'm 17 years old it means that I'm learning to drive. At first I was literally bricking it. I was so nervous I couldn't even look at the road ... Which is kinda the whole point of driving. As I've had more lessons, I've gotten better which would be hard to believe if you know me! One thing I've learnt is it isn't actually that scary. I'm not saying that you won't meet the occasional idiot who does not care one bit you've only had like 30-40 odd lessons (that's going to happen), but I have learnt a few things to make it a lot easier.

1. I find singin in my head or humming a song helps. It stops me from having a meltdown in front of the wheel by taking my mind off the fact I'm in control.

2. Listen to everything your instructor says. Sometimes I would think "my dad wouldn't do that" but trust me. Espically in your first few lessons, they defiantly know best.

3. Don't freak out. Most (I mean most) people will be considerate and remember that they were learned at on point. They'll give you space and be patient. Just take your time with everything.

4. One thing my driving instructor tells me is to remember all servers are idiots. This reminds me I need to let everyone know what I'm doing straight away. Just think of all drivers as idiots.

5. Don't worry about it. Remember everyone has to start somewhere and everyone that drives a car had lessons at some point.

Website To Watch - SwapSum

So I was browsing Twitter the other day and came across this website SwapSum. It is quite a small website as its only just be created, but it has some serious potential. Basically it's a website for you to sell your old/unwanted clothes and buy other people's. It's basically a huge platform to buy and sell clothes. I think it will take a few months to grow a lot, but once it reaches its full potential I think this site can be quite good. I'm so excited for there to be a large range of clothing available on this site. The prices are actually really good value, especially for (broke) students like me! I seriously hope this site grows like I want it to. And it's absolutely free to sign up which I suggest you do.

Check out or on Twitter @swapsum.

April Favourites

Hello May!! I would like to say this is a good thing but unfortunately, it means it's exam time for me ... So sorry in advance for the lack of blogposts!! Any way, like always I thought we'd kick of this month with some monthly favourites!

First off in the beauty section we have the Ted Baker Lip crayon. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this product! The colour is a dark, bold purple which looks amazing with pale skin. It's super moisturising and the colour last a long time, even when removed it stains your lips a purple colour.

Next up is the Thick & Fast mascara, Soap & Glory. I got given this so I don't know how much it cost but it's defiantly worth buying. The brush is quite big and gives great definition and thickness to your lashes. Let's just say I want more!!!

Lastly, to no surprise, is the H&M Smokey Eye and Eyeliner brush. I did a review of this brush here so click here to read that.

My non beauty favourite this month is Girl Online by Zoe Sugg. I know I'm really behind on reading this book but it was worth the wait. I honestly couldn't put it down!! It's about a girl called penny who has the alias Girl Online. She travels to New York over Christmas break and meets the mysterious, rock star Noah. Let's just say it's a typical girly book .... And I loved every chapter. If you'd like a ful book review let me know.

My favourite film this month has to be The Avenger Age Of Ultron. I literally dragged my dad to the cinema the day it came out I was that excited! I love Scarlet Whitch (she may even be cooler than in the comics) and I can't wait to see more of her. He plot is edge-of-your-seat gripping and I promise you will be hanging on to every word!!

So these are my monthly favourites. What do you guys think? And what's your favourites for last month, let me know in the comments.
