The Beauty Blogger Tag

Hey guys! I'm back with another tag. I found this tag done by a couple of blogs that I follow and thought I'd give it a go seeing as my blog is sort of beauty based. Let me know in the comments if there are any tags/questions that you'd like me to answer... Otherwise enjoy.
1. Name a beauty routine you barely do.
Defiantly contouring. I put a bit of bronzer on my cheeks but that's about it. I'll on,y do it if I'm going somewhere nice and need to make a good impression.
2. Is washing your brushes something that you regularly do?
I do clean my brushes just not very often. I do it when I notice a lot of pigment in them.
3. How long do you last with chipped nail varnish?
Not long at all ... A day at most. I can't stand it being chipped so I'll either pick it off, remove it or cover it up with more polish.
4. How often do you put off buying/replacing a beauty item or nail polish, even if you need it?
Not long.  If I really like that item or I don't have others I can use in his place ... I'll drag my mum to the nearest superdrug for it.
5. What is your worst beauty habit?
I don't really change my beauty routine or try new products. I just go for the same look everyday.
6. Name something non-beauty related that you tend to put off all the time.
College work. Il, put it off as long as possible.
7. When going out somewhere do you leave getting ready until the last-minute or not?
Defiantly not last minute. I like getting ready about an hour before... Maybe with a bit of music.
8. Can you commit to spending bans?
If I'm on a spending ban I don't go anywhere I can spend money and if for some reason I have to, I do t take cash... So I think I can keep to spending ban.
9. How organised is your make up and nail polish collection?
Not very! My nail polishes are in a box and my makeup is organise in boxes. I have one for mascara so and eyeliners, one for eyeshadows and one for lipgloss and lipsticks.

10. What is the longest time you have gone without writing a blog post?
About a week during exams.

So that was the beauty blogger tag. Let me know if your answers are similar to mine or if you do this tag.

Freedom By Topshop

I have three weaknesses in life; waffles, comics and Topshop jewellery. When Topshop has a sale I go straight for the jewellery and see how many chokers I can buy without going broke. Chokers are defiantly my favourite item that they sell as I haven't seen anywhere else that sells one that are as good as the ones they sell here as they're so much more original than other ones I've seen. The jeweller here is always so on trend and they have a great range espically of necklaces from big chunky one to cute little dainty ones. Every time I go into Topshop I HAVE to buy some of there jewellery even if it is a little bit more expensive than my normal H&M but its definitely worth it! The quality is amazing as the silver/gold chains don't fade colour which I sometimes find with other high street brand. My favourite one is the black flower chocked on the gold chain mainly because I haven't seen anything like that in any other shop. I got it for £4 in the sale and I've got so many complements asking where I got it from and that it looked great on me. Trust me you need to own something from this range ... Trust me it will be worth it!

What's your favourite jewellery brand? Let me know in the comments.

How To Take Photos On A Tablet

I see a lot of blogpost about 'what camera to blog with' and 'how to edit photos properly' and while that's amazing for people that enjoy photography (and can afford it) and there's just me who takes an sides my photos on my iPad. Don't get me wrong they're not professional quality but I'm actually quite impressed with them considering I haven't spent a fortune of the right camera and in editing software. So I thought I'd show you guys that it is easy to take decent quality photos for your blog on a budget.

1. Make sure your desk/surface is clear.

2. Use a desk light. I tend to put the lamp directly on top of the products I want to photograph just because I feel like the light is "evenly distributed" and that way I don't have to worry about flash or editing the lighting huge amounts. My desk lamp is from IKEA and I think it was around £8.

3. Take lots of pictures. This way you have lots of options in case on goes blurry or whatever. Also remember to focus on the products by tapping on what your taking a picture of.

4. Editing. All of the editing apps I have a free. My favourite one is InstaEditer. I love this many because it has a focus effect which blurs out the items in the background ... Also the effects are amazing. I also love the pictocollage for posts like wish lists.

So that's a brief overview of how I take and edit my photos. Let me know what camera you use ad. What program you use to edit them.

Why I Wear Makeup

Now, I wear makeup everyday. It ranges from full on heavy makeup to more natural makeup. However I still get comments like "wow, you have a lot of makeup on" or "why do you need to wear makeup". It's even got the point where whenever I stay round someone's house everyone's asking for pictures of me without makeup. Let me just get one thing straight, I wear makeup because I've been picked on in the past about the way I look and it just makes me feel more comfortable and confident when I wear it. I don't wear it to impress people... I wear it for me which is the most important thing. I find makeup a confidence booster personally and honestly, I don't appreciate people commenting on it considering I don't have bright orange skin, fake lashes and clown like blusher. I will admit I am known to wear bright lipstick but that's just me. I love adding colour to any outfit in anyway I can which is normally bright red lipstick. So do I need to be told that I'm wearing too much makeup ... NO!!! I mean I've even been called a slapper in the past which is totally uncalled for. If I'm being brutally honest, I am one of only a few girls in our friendship group that wears makeup so it's defiantly more noiticable but I'm not trying to impress anyone or get attention. I'm just trying to feel happy in my own skin without feeling self conscious about everyone looking at me and laughing which has happened in the past. I also love the idea of being able to use makeup for specific costumes and themes to change who you are completely. I'm not saying that if you don't wear makeup you look ugly or horrible, I'm trying to say that it's up to you how you look. If you wanna go bare face, natural or full goth I don't care as long as it makes you happy and confident which it does for me.

Do you guys wear makeup and how often do you wear it?

Rimmel London Rita Ora Polish Review

So I was in Boots a couple of weeks ago and saw that the Rita Ora nail polishes were on offer at £1.99. There were some absolutely gorgeous colours but this one in particular caught my eye. I chose the shade 'Peachella' because I thought it was a beautiful summer colour and I didn't have anything like it in my collection. At £1.99 I had nothing to lose and decided to buy it. All have to say is wow. The colour is very opaque and requires two coats at a max. The polish is very hardwearing and after five days I could barely see the difference. It's also surprisingly glossy as well and doesn't even need a topcoatLet's just say I am most definitely going to buy more of these, they had a nice baby blue which I might pick up and it's defiantly my new favourite nail polish!

What's you favourite summer nail polish, let me know in the comments.

Collection 'Work The Colour' Eyebrow Review.

Hey guys!!! I'M BACK!!! And with another review for you guys. Before we get started I just wanna put this out there ... I had very little expectations as this pallets cost me £2.99 but I thought it was worth a try because I loved the colours so if I didn't like it on my eyebrows I'd use it as eyeshadow. The far colour was too dark as it's almost black as the lighter colour is meant for blondes .. But the third colour is almost a perfect fit for my shade of brown. Light to dark brown hair will work perfectly with this colour. The one problem is it does fade a bit throughout the day but if you use the gel it stays in place. Obviously the brush is a bit ... Well rubbish but I used my H&M eyeliner brush and they look amazing. It gives a good colour without looking like you used a marker to draw them one. Let's just say this is defiantly one of my must haves and will almost defiantly be repurchasing thspis item. I would pay more than £2.99 for this product 110%... Love it!!! I also use the other two for eyeshadow. The lighter one on my lid and the darker one blended in the crease... I love it because it's really simple and I also don't have a lot of matte eyeshadow so I love having this just as eyeshadow as well.

What's your favourite eyebrow product? Let me know in the comments.
