Vo5 Extra Body Mousse Reveiw

So one of the things in my summer bucket list (click here) was to change my hair. So it's gone from being down to my waist to just below my shoulders. I also plan to ombré or dip dye my hair as well which could be .... Interesting. So as my hair is a lot shorter I've began to notice that my hairs more flat with little volume, so I decided to get something that would help make my hair look less limp and lifeless. I found is in tescos at two for £4 and thought I'd give it ago. To apply it squirt some into your hands and massage into the roots of your hair. It says to use "from root to tip" but I don't see a huge amount of difference so I think it's a waste of product. So far I'm impressed with this product. I've noticed a lot amount of difference in the volume and texture of my hair. It doesn't add a huge amount of volume so your hair doesn't look like it's been teased like a birds nest. It adds just enough of volume so it's not flat and is easy to style. It stays in all day (providing here's not a huge amount of rain) and comes out when you brush your hair. I personally would of preferred this is a spray for as it's less messy and easier to apply but this is defiantly a close second.

What's your favourite volumising product? Let me know in the comments.

How To NOT Fail A Job Interview

Hey guys. I know it's been a while but guess what ... I got a job!!!! Seeing as I got hired and started THE NEXT DAY I thought I'd share some tips from past experiences and things I learnt from college and other places on how to not fail your job interview. I was going to call this "how to nail a job interview" but even if you do a job interview perfectly you still might not get the job. It could be your age avail lite or lack of experience. Don't worry if you don't get the job, just think of it as a experience to learn from. So here are my top five tips on not failing a job interview.

1. Don't be late. If your late to your interview, your interviewer is going to think you'll be late to work

2. Always bring a copy of your CV. Your interviewer probably hasn't gone to the trouble of prints out your CV or whatever so when they ask for it and you don't have one ... You're going to look underprepared.

3. Do your research. Your interviewer is going to ask you questions about the company your applying for so make sure you know what they sell and some background information. This will also help you think of questions they might ask you as well.

4. Ask your friends or family what your best/worst qualities are. You're probably not aware of what they are so its better to ask someone who knows you as this is a super common question.

5. Dress to impress. This isn't so social event so light makeup and smart clothing. The clothing will depend on what your applying for. If you're applying for retail then wear clothes from their shop or clothes that suit what they sell. If it's more food then wear plain black trousers and smart top and flats.

So these are my top five tips. Let me know if you agree or have any extra to add in the comments.

DIY Salt Spray

Hey guys.I'm back with another DIY (this would of been up sooner but I stated OITNB). So it's officially summer which means beach waves are back in. Now, my hairs naturally quite wavy but I want it to look more like beach waves and sea salt spray can be quite expensive... So I found a simple DIY for sea salt spray. Enjoy!

Sea salt (normal salt does work. You just need more salt but it's not as effective)
Hair gel
Water (room temperature)
Spray bottle

For every 50ml you will need approximately 4 teaspoons of sea salt and roughly 2 teaspoons of hair gel. Most people leave out the hair gel but it holds the salt together and the waves for longer. Then fill the rest of the container with water and shake well to mix the ingredients.

So there you have it. And its super simple and looks AMAZING!! Let me know if you try this or have any other DIYs you want me to try.

Five Things To Ask A University

Hey guys. So recently I've been visiting a lot of university's and I hit a wall when they asked me if I had any questions. I mean I should have questions right? I mean this is the rest of my life and I'm just standing here not being able to ask anything. So after attending a range of lectures and talks I made a list of questions to ask them. So here are my top five ...

1. Is the course accredited? This means its recognised by a society which will look much better on your CV and will look more impressive to employers.

2. How many students get a job after university? If the statistics are low then you should be asking why or look at a different university.

3. What does the university look for in a personal statement? Different universities looks for different things. Some are really focused on grades where as others are more interested in you and what you have on your CV.

4. Do they offer a sandwhich year or work placements? Taking a sandwhich year is In between years 2 and 3 where you take a year out in industry. This look really good on your CV and employers love the fact you have experience.

5. Are there any movement on grades? I've been to university's that say they accept AAB but have said they actually accept BBB. If you have a lot of voluntary work and work experience in that area they might offer you lower grades.

So these are my top five questions to ask at a university open day. Do you agree with these or have anything else to add? Let me know in the comments.

Last Day Of College?!?

This year has been ... A journey? I've had a rough year at college not Being able to cope with college or with myself if I being honest. I've hit a new low even for me. I'm so glad to of finished college because my exams are over and I should be feeling relaxed. But after today I feel more down and stressed then I did before. All I've done since I've got home is cry and lie on the sofa doing nothing. I mean it's officially the first day of summer and I'm feeling down? What is wrong with me?

Ever since my exams are finished I've felt worse. I know it should be this huge sigh of relief but it really wasn't like that. It started when my friends well... Stoped being my friends. There are these two people I was particularly close with at college. One is amazingly smart and always knows what to do and the other... Well he's just a bit of a moron but in a good way. A few months ago they started to leave me out of things. They hang out a lot more than they did normally by themselves, ignored me and just generally didn't make me feel wanted at all. Now I'm the type of girl who constantly compares myself to others and sees my failures before anything else so seeing these two having there own little thing going on made me feel like it was my fault and people didn't want to spend time with me. Then gradually more of me friends stopped caring, stop caring why I was constantly upset or why I felt like and outsider to my so called friends. This made me feel so much worse about myself than I ever have before. I tried talking to my two close friends but they acted like I was being a stroppy bi**h and because I didn't want to lose them or stand up to them I just agreed. This made me feel so small and insignificant to everyone because I guess they told everyone I was like that so e Rhine treated me like I was in the wrong when I genuinely felt this way.

I feel relieved about leaving college but at the same time I feel like I have no reason to get up or do anything this summer. What the point if I don't have anyone to share it with. They didn't even say goodbye to me today which makes me think I'm not wanted at all. They don't see what to see what I see ... No one ever backs me up in these things and it always seems like it's my fault. I know I seem like a stroppy teenager right now but I'm too awkward to make a new set of friends which means that in going to be all alone next year. I hear all these amazing things from another friend at another college. About her boyfriend, her amazing friends and all these parties she gets invited too. That was pretty much me a year ago and look at me now? All I seem to do is mess up all the good things I have in my life and all I do is sit there and watch it crumble around me.

So am excited college is over ... Hell yeah! But at the same time I'm sad. It means the only person I. Going to be hanging out with all summer is my mum. Don't get me wrong my mum is the person I rely on the most but I need some fried a whi care about me.

Let me know if you've had friends like this in the past or are dealing with this now.
