KIKO EyeShadow Review

So recently and friend and I went on a day trip to Brighton. I'd never been to Brighton before and I thought it was an amazing place.i could of spent forever shopping in the lanes and walking along the beach and pier. One of the shops of visited was this makeup shop Kiko in the shopping centre. The main reason I went in was because they had a sale so I picked up these two eye shadows for £1.90 each (they were normally around £3). I chose a brown shade (133) and a rose gold shade (137) mainly because I love neural colours and that brown is gorgeous and I mean who doesn't love rose gold? Am I right?

I know I can't review a whole brand on two products but img quite impressed with the eyeshadow. First of all it's very pigmented and I love the chuncks of glitter so you do need to cover your eyelids in them as a little goes a long way. Also these eye shadows are very easy to blend meaning that they work really well when creating a smoky eye. I have to say I absolutely love the coppery rose gold colour. It's so different to everything I have and the sparkle in the actually product gives makes it look even better. I'm so impressed with these products it gives me a reason to go back to Brighton and buy more! Aha.

Have you tied this brand or seen anything similar? Let me know in the comments.

NYC Expert Last Lipstick Review

Let's just take a moment to mourn the NYC counter that has closed down at my local pharmacy. But in the plus sid ether were selling every single item from that counter was down to £1 which meant that brought this lipstick. I chose this over my normal bright red because I thought it was really different because of the maroon colour which looks amazing.

So far I've been really loving this lipstick and I defiantly want more from this range. I have to stay I'm really impressed with its staying ability considering it's not matte and I love the colour. It looks a bit purple in the picture but when you layer it it come out a maroon/ mauve colour which I feel will look absolutely gorgeous in the autumn. It's also really moisturising which is quite surprising becauseyou normally either get long stay or moisture so I'm quite surprised considering it a pretty non expensive brand.

What's your favourite low cost lipstick? Let me know in the comments.

Teen Choice Awards Fashion

I actually can't believe it's been nearly a week since I've posted ... Whoops! So the other day were the teen choice awards and I have to say I was impressed with the fashion. There was defiantly a mixture of different styles that looked amazing. I feel like these awards are more relaxed then some of the other award shows which means that there's a wider variety of outfits ... Not just fancy dresses. So here are my favourite outfits from the teen choice awards.

So first of is Victoria Justice and this gorgeous  green dress. I think this dress is absolutely GORGEOUS. I think this colour looks amazing on her and the style of dress shows of her amazing figure. I love the fringing as it adds detail and catches the eye with out be too much ... If that makes sense.

Next we have Shay Mitchell. I mean she looks amazing in everything she wears but this is particularly stunning. I love the black detailing on this blazer and let's be honest she look like a model in this. I love the black detailing and the way she's styles it with the belt. I mean I could never pull something like this off but she defiantly has.

Next is Lea Michele. I love her and this I love this dress. It's so cute and she looks fabulous in it. This sort of style is something I love and can defiantly see myself wearing. I think she pulls it off and looks brilliant.

I had to talk about Lucy Hale. Is it just me or is this dress something Aria would 100% wear? I really love darker colours and patterns and I love the mesh. I mean... It's beautiful and she looks even more beautiful in it. I personally would of liked her hair styled a bit more ... Maybe down or something. I feel like this dress is amazing and it's styled beautifully and the hair lets it down a bit ... I don't know might just be me. But Lucy looks amazing in anything so I'm surprised she has one of my favouite outfits.

I mean and we couldn't not talk about Little Mix. These girls are so beautiful and talented. I mean trust them to start the show dressed as their nerdy character from the Black Magic music video. I mean their performance was amazing. And my favouite outfit of the night goes to Jesy for that killer little black dress but I mean come on ... They all look great.

So what was your favouite outfit from this years TCA's. Let me know in the comments.

I'm Happy I Failed???

Hey guys. For ode of us in England today was A-level results day and I did .... Badly. I got a D in biology and two U's in maths and chemistry. At first I was gutted. I was disappointed in myself because I tried really hard and gave it my everything. After about an hour of wondering what I did wrong I actually realised I was okay with it. I hated maths and I really struggled with chemistry so actually it was better than me get all D's because I would of carried on with subjects I didn't like and struggle with so I would of got bad grades and gone into clearing next year. My year has been interesting... I've had some problems at college with bullying and my dads been sick so I've been feeling the pressure. But really the reason I failed is because I was trying too hard with two subjects I don't have a passion or interest for. I want to do either biology or environmental science at university which doesn't need either maths or chemistry. This way I can start fresh, move colleges if I can and do subjects I enjoy. I was thinking on tasking environmental studies and either English literature or media studies. Something else completely different that I enjoy and did really well at GCSE. And this way I'll have something other than science on my CV. Yes I'll have to explain the two failures that I have but the passes that I will have will look a lot better. So am I upset that I failed. Yes of course I am. I put all this work in for what appears to be nothing. But at the same time I'm happy. Happy I now have a reason to drop subjects I hate and swap them for ones I know I'll enjoy. I could spend ages crying about subjects that I hate when I could be excited about trying subjects I enjoy.

How do you guys get on with your results? Let me know in the comments.

Planning My Future???

Before the start of the summer holidays, we had a bun of talk about UCAS and applying for university. Now most of my friends have everything sorted out. They know exactly  where they want to be in five years time and how they're going to get there. I've always thought it was ok to not know these things but it turns out I'm mistaken. I feel this huge pressure to chose my course and which uni life is risky I want to go to when in reality I'm more confused than ever. I've narrowed mopey course down to biology, environmental science or a combination of them both. But there still more thinking to be done. I then need to sort out all the uni open days and figure out which course is best where and how much this will all cost. If I hear one more word about this from anyone my head my explode.

I also feel like my college has given me little/no guidance or help. I think they expect me to know exactly what I want from life when the reality is I don't even know what I want for lunch. I have so many questions I want answered. How do I know this course is for me? How much experience do I need? How do I wrote a personal statement? But then again what do I expect from college. This is the college that told me to "it could be worse" when I was being bullied so I don't expect them to care in any way about my future. I feel like if someone sat down and bothered to talk to me about see big decisions then I might be able to think of something.

There's also the issue of how far away from home to study. We have an excellent uni right on our door step. I love the course and I love the place but I'm not sure I want to go there. I feel like if I study at home I won't ever leave. I hate the idea of growing up and loving in the same area without experiencing any independence or other places. I know studying at home is a better idea for saving money. Am I being stupid in saying that?

Are any of you going though this right now with uni? Or have you already been through this let me know in the comments.

Sorry about that, I'm having a meltdown about this.

I haven't really been makeup shopping recently so there are only two beauty favourites which I've mentioned before so I'm sorry inability it that but I've been loving these product a lot recently. So the first of my two beauty favourites is the W7 Wild Lash mascara. This is one of my all time favourite mascara so. It makes my lashes look monger and thick and it was a really good price. I can't recommend this enough.
My second beauty favourite is the ecotools fluffy eye brush. This is one of my favourite brushes. I find it blends reall well and is super easy to use. I love the ecotools brushes and this one is my favourite.

I all have two jellery favourites. The first is my crescent moon Topshop chocked. As you know I LOVE Topshop jewellery and I saw this chocker in the sale for £2 and knew I haspd to get it. I love the pendants as they're super adorable, and looks amazing on. I've also been loving this pandora ring I got. It's a plain silver one with white detailing. I love it because it's so simple and looks good with everything. It's my first pandora ring and I love it.

So it's time for my music favourites. One of my top songs for this month has to be Drag Me Down by One Direction. This is possibly one of there best songs yet and has got me BUZZING for the next album and September 26th (my OTRA date). My other top song is Bad Blood by Taylor Swift. Taylor's swift is my all time favourite artiest and this has always been my favourite song from the album. I prefer the original version because I feel like the its Kendrick Lemaf featuring Taylor Swift not the other way around. But it's ddfinakty been playing a lot this month.
